The Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering is dedicated to advancing knowledge at the intersection of biology, engineering, and technology to address critical challenges in healthcare, agriculture, environment, and biotechnology. The department combines fundamental biological sciences with engineering principles to develop innovative solutions in areas such as molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioprocess technology, biomedical engineering, and synthetic biology.
