AIIMS Awantipora is being established under the Central Sector Scheme – Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), a flagship initiative of the Government of India, for which Gazette of India has been published vide Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), No. 3903, dated 04 December 2019.
